I am Florian Salzmann, a passionate Microsoft MVP and consultant from Switzerland. My focus is on the Microsoft cloud platforms, where I am particularly specialised in endpoint management with Intune.
My journey in the cloud started with the start of my apprenticeship in 2012, at that time it was mainly the private cloud in the form of various services such as Hosted Desktop (Citrix), Hosted Exchange etc..
In 2014 I was able to start my first "cloud-only" project for a school. At that time it was still using the Silverlight Intune portal. A lot has happened since that project and the technology continues to evolve. The challenges remain exciting.
Today my main activities are:
- Endpoint Management (MEM / Intune)
- Endpoint Security (MDE)
- Azure Active Directory / Entra
- Full Cloud Solutions
Thanks to the large community around Microsoft 365 and endpoint management, I have been able to expand my knowledge and benefit from the exchange. My blog is my way of sharing my challenges and solutions as part of the community.
On 1 February 2023, a big dream of mine came true and I was awarded the MVP Award in the category "Enterprise Mobility" for the first time.
I have been an Official Contributor to the Modern Endpoint Management Group auf LinkedIn on LinkedIn since 2022 and help shape events and contributions in and with the group.
